Last night I went to my first online chat at Nuts4Digi... it was fun getting to know some of the girls... a lot of random talk... lots of eating and drinking... and of course talk about scrapping. A challenge was set at the beginning of the night - we had a to complete a layout that contained journalling and stitching and post it up within 48 hours to be eligible for a freebie. So this is what I did - it's an old photo from last year, but it really captures the moment -

There is currently a May Quote Challenge at Nuts4Digi, challenging us to create a LO using a mother quote from the Nuts4Digi quote book. I decided instead of scrapping a photo of me and Beth again, I would scrap a photo of my mum and me... I looked through lots of old photos and found this one of us together. It has taken me days to do this layout... I just found it really difficult to complete... maybe because I wanted to do a brilliant job ... maybe because she is so close to my heart... maybe because looking at us together made me miss her... Probably a combination of all three ... So here, is a very special layout, close to my heart... I chose to use pressed flowers on the LO 'cos Mum loved pressed flowers... especially pansies... you will notice there are even a few pressed pansies on the page.

I can officially announce that I am on the Creative Team for Nuts4Digi!

I never really thought I'd be good enough to be on a CT, but with a little encouragement from my online digi-scrapping buddy ~mouse~ (Thanks for believing in me and giving me the confidence to apply, Donna!) I applied and found out yesterday that I have made the team! I am sooooo excited about this new gig I have now! :)

Thought I would go back in time and scrap this photo of Little B and me last year... it's one my favourite photos of both of us together... As it often seems to be the case, mummies always seem to be behind the camera and not in front of it, so the photos of the two of us are far and few between...
